Fresh from the Vegetarian Kitchen 10/14/14
Here's a sneak peak at Fresh From the Vegetarian Kitchen which I will be reviewing for Veggie Bunch.
Sometimes it seems silly to collect recipe books when there are so many phenomenal recipes available on the internet. But, despite this, there’s still something wonderful about opening a new cookbook filled with inspiring images and fresh ideas.
I recently received a copy of Fresh from the Vegetarian Kitchen by Mellissa Bushby. This is the second book from the South African author following on from The Vegetarian Kitchen, which we reviewed in 2012. It features all-vegan dishes, making it a win for both vegetarians and vegans. It’s also South African, which means that the products and substitutes in the book are ACTUALLY available to buy in the shops.
This makes it worth considering for all local vegetarians and vegans. So far, I have made one salad from the book, but will be trying out a few more. From what I can see, they are simple recipes made with easy-to-find ingredients.
