I usually consider myself an okay cook.  When it comes to poaching eggs though, I tend to create an “artistic” mess.  I really don’t find it so eazee-peazee, and am delighted that the PoachPod has come around!

The PoachPod is as pretty as it is useful.  Simply pop it in boiling water, add your egg, and when it is done, take it out, flip it over and voilà! Poached eggs made easy. The egg doesn’t stick to the caddy and it pops out easily.

With the PoachPod being silicone, you can also use it for baking or moulding, as it doesn’t get too hot to handle, create mess or stick to the food like some metal products. Bonus: Dishwasher and microwave safe! Also love the fun, green colours.

Don’t say we don’t help you put the eggs in easy!

Available from Yuppie Chef for R110.
