Join us for a four-course Indian taste adventure at Masala Dosa on the 27th February for only R150.

The first Veggie Buntch Supper Club of 2013 is going to be a little different to last year’s events as we’ll be focusing on a broader range of restaurants.

We’ll be kicking off with Masala Dosa on Wednesday, 27th February, 2013 for a four-course vegetarian or vegan menu including delicious Tormentoso vegan wine for only R150.00. Book now by emailing

Plus! This year Veggie Buntch is also going to be involved in a Student Edition Supper Club to expose students to the world of plant-based living. This will be managed by the lovely Vegilicious UCT student organisation. You can sign-up for their event on the Vegilicious website here - but please note it’s only open to students with a valid student card.

The Veggie Buntch Supper Club event

Sev puri
– puffed Indian bread filled with chickpeas and layered with coriander chutney, tamarind, salsa and crispy crackles
Masalad – salad greens in a 4-herb dressing with spicy seed and nuts and aloo tikki (potato dumpling)
Masala dosa – our signature dish: rice and lentil crepe served with potato, curry, coconut chutney and a spicy lentil broth.
Suji halwa – semolina pudding cooked in coconut milk with apricots, saffron and cardamom. Served with rose syrup

When: 19:00 for 19:30 on Wednesday, 27th February
Where: Masala Dosa, 167 Long street
Price: R150 –  This includes gratuity and wine throughout the meal.
Excludes: Additional drinks or extras.

What’s this Supper Club all about?
The Veggie Buntch Supper Club is a dinner club for veggie-lovers who enjoy great food and good company. We kicked off in Cape Town in June 2012 with one Supper Club event per month.
