    I am a practising vegetarian and have been for many years. Choosing beer and wine seems to be an area of contention when it comes to being vegetarian and the research I have conducted offers conflicting advice. If anything, it has left me more confused than when I started. How are animals used in the production of alcohols? Are most beers and wines not vegetarian? And is there a definitive list I can rely on to guide me on what and what not to purchase? I am also considering changing from a vegetarian to a vegan diet.
